Quando si parla di Cina e di macroeconomia, ci è sempre sorto il dubbio che gli amici del Celeste Impero non ce la contassero giusta. In altri termini, in uno stato così grande e cosi “riservato”, è sempre stato un problema poter stabilire se quanto comunicato al mercato fosse coerente con la realtà.

Ricordate questo post? Nella sua semplicità ricordava che qualcosa non quadrava. Energia elettrica, acciaio, cemento, tutti in ribasso a livello di quantità consumata. E un PIL che invece continua a viaggiare come un treno.
Mah… La magia della Cina…che viene però messa a nudo.

China’s graft watchdog said it identified cases of fake economic data in two northern provinces, the second announcement this year about unreliable figures.
Some areas and companies in Jilin and certain places in Inner Mongolia falsified reports, the Communist Party’s Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said in statements late Sunday, without specifying what figures were manipulated, how widespread the practice was, or the timeframe. CCDI also said it found violations in the use of funding for poverty relief.
The accuracy of China’s statistics has been questioned in the past as readings such as gross domestic product growth or jobless rates showed uncanny stability, while provincial officials previously had incentives to inflate growth numbers to enhance their careers. Liaoning province, which neighbors Jilin in the northeast, this year admitted faking fiscal data from 2011 to 2014.
China’s National Bureau of Statistics, the nation’s top statistical agency, said in April that it established a new supervisory arm to ensure data authenticity and improve data quality. (Bloomberg)

Massi, hanno falsificato i dati, ma già lo so, il mercato ignora tutto, ha le spalle larghe. Ma noi mettiamo questo ulteriore dettaglio del “Grande Bluff” nel vaso che sta per essere sempre più colmo. In quel vaso che ultimamente si è riempito delle valutazioni di Bitcoin, Ethereum e Tesla, in quel vaso delle meraviglie che rende tutti ricchi e felici.
Ricordo per l’ennesima volta. Questo non deve essere un post che vi porta a vendere tutto, ma solo ad essere consapevoli e sopratutto PRONTI.
Chiudo ricordando che, questi due stati, come si evince dal grafico in apertura, non sono i più produttivi in assoluto ma rappresentano comunque segnale chiaro che il bluff potrebbe estendersi anche oltre… E quindi, viste le previsioni qui sotto illustrate, cosa potrebbe comportare su scala globale un vero bluff cinese?
