La figlia di Zhang Lin, Zhang Anni di dieci anni, è giunta a San Francisco Sabato mattina, con un volo da Shanghai.accompagnata da sua sorella di 19 anni , Zhang Ruli. Le due sorelle saranno ospiti di Reggie Littlejohn e suo marito, Robert. Nei successivi giorni, Ruli volerà a visitare i parenti a New York. Anni resterà con Littlejohn e la sua famiglia.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: DAUGHTERS OF ZHANG LIN TO ARRIVE IN SAN FRANCISCO SATURDAY

The ten-year-old daughter of Zhang Lin, Zhang Anni, will arrive in San Francisco at 8:00 a.m. Saturday morning, in a flight from Shanghai. She will be accompanied by her 19-year-old sister, Zhang Ruli. The two will stay at the home of Reggie Littlejohn and her husband, Robert. After several days, Ruli will fly to visit relatives in New York. Anni will stay with Littlejohn and her family.

Littlejohn made the following personal statement: “We are absolutely thrilled that Anni is coming to stay with us to study in the United States, and we look forward to welcoming Ruli as well. I would like to thank those who worked hard to help make this happen, including Congressman Chris Smith, Jing Zhang, Yao Cheng, and other friends in the United States and China who assisted greatly but cannot be named at this time. It is my delight to be able to help the family of Zhang Lin in this personal way. I hope that others will respect the need for privacy of my family, and of Anni, during this sensitive time of transition.”
